Currently looking for one Per Diem nights 7:00pm – 7:30am and one Per Diem days 7:00am – 7:30pm openings available.
Emerald City Enhanced Services is a private 16 bed behavioral health residential treatment center in Lakewood, WA.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced CNA with a background in the behavioral health field.
Responsibilities:
- Engage socially and therapeutically with residents
- Ability to set boundaries, redirect, and de-escalate challenging behaviors
- Organize and lead group activities
- Communicate with medical personnel, patients, and their families.
- Assist patients with personal needs such as laundry, trip planning, and activities of daily living.
- Keep census records and chart notes
- Assist with meals and meal prep and cleanup.
- Prepare snacks and keep snack station stocked
- Assist in kitchen duties including temperature logs and cleanup
- Follow directions from doctors, nurses and supervising personnel.
- Report any baseline changes
- Interact well with patients, families, and other medical personnel.
- Accompany residents to appointments and outings
Salary: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Experience:
- Behavioral health: 1 year (Required)
- General Desktop Computer Knowledge (required)
- General Electronic Charting System Knowledge (required)
License/Certification:
- CNA (Required)
- Food Handler Certification (Required)
- CPR (required)
- First Aid (required)
- Valid State ID with Social Security Card or US Passport (required)
- Quantiferon Gold Tuberculosis blood test results within the last 4.5 years (required) *if not valid, results must be within 72hours after start date
- Safety & Orientation (if already completed)
- Mental Health & Dementia (if already completed)
- Therapeutic Options (If already completed) or
CPI (Will replace with Therapeutic Options once expired provided by Emerald City)The last 4 “If already completed” courses will be provided during onboarding if not already completed.
